Also to add to the problem Andy_Mythic is the fact that the lag is now causing issues that allow people to exploit wall bugs etc more in the lab... and not just the fall between the crack... jumping into spots that were not even possible to get to before.


Example : I was able to get up to the rafters and camp a corner with my lock the other day just cause i jumped once, and no window drag was involved.. voila was up at the top. I did drop a appeal in with loction and dropped from said spot... but its horrible..


Lastly Andy, whoever would handle this should get the opinions on how to manage this from the UO team... they have done it right for the past 11 years, and seeing as you are all part of the same family, having a outside opinion outside of the VN or general public may assist in resolving this issue.

For you and your team to be so oblivious to this common problem that has plagued the server at least since Ywain's start that you need vn posters to explain the lag to you is so bad on your part. I see you're trying to show you're listening and that is nice, but to play stupid or to actually be ignorant to this problem is just telling of the state of this game and its future.

I have an idea. Why don't you and your team actually play your own game from your homes during busy hours for more than once every few months and experience it for yourselves so we don't need to tell you what's wrong. Almost everyone experiences this. And don't try to redirect the blame on to individuals or their ISPs, because performance was better 6 years ago than it is now. You think customers don't know what happened when Mythic announced it was taking the servers down for hardware "maintenance", "upgrades", "consolidation", and "migration"?

I have to say you have a valid arguement but your tone is not needed and honestly childish. Express your concerns in a more constructive way. Being a total ass is not a way to get problems resolved.

I think its quite constructive for them to know when they are pissing off their customers But the message might go over their head just like the issues with the server seem to have gone.

Ive been playing DAoC since like 2002, and I must say is the first time I see this kind of lag too. Its not the PC or the conection, is the servers.

Trying to run 2 songs + charm pet on the minstrel is impossible at the moment, it does get ugly, really ugly, at prime time. And NF is way worse than Thid hehe.

Its the same lag you get when you play on a Old PC Shard server, looks almost like when your connection drops a lot of packets. Looks like the servers are having a hard time keeping so many people online at the same time.

I've been playing WAR and other MMOs for the past year, and I was VERY surprised to see this lag and the Ghosts in NF. Ive been asking around and seems its normal nowdays. LOTS and LOTS of ghosts all over NF. Havent been in the lAbby yet, but for what Ive heard, Ill stay away from it

It was something like a 2 sec lag most of yesterday. Click the button and wait a couple seconds for whatever to happen. Always kept 3 green lights on the "lag-o-meter" like everyone else.
