the other games arent hosted in the same location, or on the same internet service provider...

so theres a good likelyhood they route around the bad spot...

So why can't mythic get a better ISP?

Maybe if you try and act like an expert.. you should at least use the correct IP address in your traceroute! Game connects to 63.117.29.225 for Ywain NF.

they could change ISPs as a way to test...

but there location might still cause it to route through the alternet spot thats bad...

it would be a smarter idea to contact the owner of that bad router and have it fixed..

maybe, because he was using the gateway address mythic tells people to use .. wich you'll notice near the end they just time out, because mythic has the game servers themselves set not to respond to pings... wich is probly why they tell people to use the gateway address.

but here you go.. and hey look, no lag spots for me, i guess thats why when i login and test for lag and such it never happens to me.
