yes, lower the subscription fee.. so EA will shut down DAoC completely ...
because if you lower the subscription fee.. Mythic wont be able to afford to keep the servers operational... and they've already had so many lay offs that they are running below a skeleton crew...
but sure having even less income so they operate at a loss each quarter will certainly make EA keep the game going...

It was 12.95 and Mythic had the balls to raise it to what WOW was charging.
Mythic has big balls. I doubt they will lower the subscription rate.

Go F2P or leave the subscription cost alone. All dropping the sub to $5 would do is make the game earn less money and hasten the day EA shuts it down.

About the same as every other game that has tried to kill DAOC. Until another true three faction realm versus realm game comes out I don't see DAOC going much of anywhere.

...the game has less then 2K subs and you say its going nowhere....lol
even diablo 2 has 80K players and the games 90 years old

Eh? The game has more than 2K players on even at most off hours. Not every player plays in primetime. For instance I don't think I've logged in later than 7pm ET in forever. The actual number of active accounts surely still numbers in the tens of thousands. It's no WOW, but it's still healthy enough. EA wouldn't hesitate to pull the plug on DAOC if it stopped being profitable.
