Go see the bar keeper is Vasudheim - is out one of the exits from Jordheim. Go across the bridge and past the bind stone into the building and you'll find him.

I hope you did the Saving Zarees quest that gave you the tin foil hat.

You can bind in front of the bar keeper if you want. Assuming you only have one porting capability (hat), once you get the quest, use the foil hat to port back to SI and then port to Jord. Run out the Mularn exit and catch a horse to Ft. Veldon. Catch a griffon on the scenic ride to Muspelheim ... you will be jumping off on the east side of the zone where you have a red dot indicating the quest. Kill 10 of the flame balls. Use the foil hat to get back to civilization - you will be in Aegirhamn. Port to Jord, go see bar keep - rinse repeat. Once every 30 minutes u can use your personal bind stone and port directly back in front of the bar keeper.

Also, make your own template. There's no faster way to learn the game than by templating your own character. Make your first temp, which will suck, and post it here. Then revise it with the suggestions you get and repost the second attempt, which will also suck. Repeat this process a few more times and you'll have a decent grasp of itemization in DAoC, which is a pretty huge part of the game. This way, instead of freaking out when you suddenly find a bunch of little devil minions flying at your face, you'll know someone just popped Bracer of Zo on you.
