Coming from Warhammer here because im over that game and I have heard that this one is better, obviously I can't afford a power level (would love a freebie if anyone is bored tho so I have 2 questions.
How long will it take me to get to 50 roughly?
Anyone have some good class guides on the Runemaster?

I have no idea how long it takes, but here are a few random tips:
- Midgard is the stronger / more populated realm at the moment (just fyi).
- Get tin foil hat (quest item) from "Saving Zarees" quest around lvl 10.
- Get xp in the frontiers at lvl 20+ (ask other players for buffs at the frontier gates).
- At lvl 40+ there is a repeatable quest that is generally much quicker than grinding (ask in-game for name of quest and directions).
- Buffs are important in this game. An unbuffed runemaster is not the most effective class for leveling, but it is a good class for large scale RvR though (if buffed).

generaly 10 or so hours /played time... of course thats with knowing the game...
being a complete newb.. maybe 20 hours /played ... but still ... at 2 hrs a night doable in the 14 day trial...
its adviced not to head straight to the level cap though... that will put you at a severe disadvantage when you hit the frontiers with zero RPs...
best to get to level 20 then enjoy the battlegrounds work up RPs so when you get to level 50 you have more of a chance.

Hmm just wondering what build should I go with? Went with Darkness at first but it seems like RC would of been the better option.

runecarving is a much better spec to start out with at low realm rank, in my opinion, bolts are best thing ever.

Note: Do get that foil hat as soon as you can, ~lvl 10, as noted above. (It's the reward from the "Saving Zarees" quest, which is ease itself.)
It's invaluable, because all you have to do is equip it, and it insta-transports you from anyplace (well, anyplace inside Mid/ PvE areas, but that's helpful enough) to right in front of a channeler. Her location varies by realm -- I play Hib so I don't know where it is in Mid -- but it doesn't matter because you can then use the channeler to zap off again to wherever you want. And there's no timer. (!)
Just don't forget to put your regular helmet back on afterwards, as the foil hat has no armor value. --I speak from sad experience.

Thanks, I did actually find the tin foil hat all though I cannot remember where...
Luckily I didn't destroy yet, lol.

There are xp quests in the battlegrounds for levels 10-30 that make leveling easier at the lower levels. As a new player, do play your toon so that you are comfortable with its mechanics. Too many folks get a toon power leveled just to have no clue how to actually play it once it's 50. Thid and Molvik are very competitive battlegrounds. If you are in random armor they can be somewhat brutal as many folks only play there and are twinked out. Try to stick Molvik out until you are near rr3 (2L9 is cap to stay there) so that going into NF isn't as painful. gl =)
