I've submitted a request for character renaming to be implemented at least 100 times now and I am still waiting. It clearly can be done, as the Original > Ywain server transfers showed.
I'd even be prepared to pay a small charge if you guys are too tight to do it for free, but regardless, please get it sorted. Chop Chop!

I've got four or five characters across two accounts that I can't access because I can't play them with '133' at the end of the character name - EG Brinsteaad133 - and I can't change the name. I'm pretty sure I filed an appeal asking what to do (about a week ago, should have taken a frelling screen shot) but neither account shows any active appeals..

The way the name change prompt was setup was very non-user-friendly btw but it should still work I would think.
From memory, when it prompts you for the name change hit backspace a few times to clear out the numbers etc in the name, then rename to suit.

you bothered them over 100 times? Wow, its like when a little kid thinks that if he keeps on asking his parents, then eventually, they'll just get pissed off and give him what he wants.
Well keep up the work, if the csr's haven't already put you on their ignore list, then they just might give in.
