He was the single biggest reason why I didn't buy into WAR early on, and didn't even try to get into beta. I waited to see what beta players said, but when I saw the game at a convention myself, shortly before release, it was clear I could never like it.

I do not know how was responsible for the big design decisions. What I can tell you is that in the initial stage of beta WAR was a flaming pile of poo. The character advancement was the most idiotic idea I have ever seen and it made me wonder is the designers had ever played an mmorpg before. At release, things improved to a smoldering pile of poo. WAR is one of the worst games ever designed. How can you have an mmo where the entire world is just following a road?

I hold out hope for SWTOR only on the assumption that no design staff from WAR have touched the game.

then you should just give up now...

plus have you seen any of the info on it?

if you think WAR was too linear got some news for you... SW:TOR will be just as linear or more so...

I couldn't give a crap where some guy I probably wouldn't like anyway is going to work.

Can't say I've been too excited about TOR. The only upcoming MMO I can say I'm looking forward to is Guild Wars 2.

wow you'll grasp at even the tiniest of straws to vent your hatred wont you...

he isnt in charge, or responsible for billing...

he's just up the chain of command from the billing department... as in he tells them what to set the prices at, not in anyway in direct interaction with the people building the billing system or maintaining it.

I think the key word there is "support." Billing Support sounds like customer service.

Anyone who considers himself a visionary is a deluded pile of BS.
