Not balancing for below 50 has always been a crock of ###. 50 is not balanced and you know it. So throw that old tired assumption out the window. Many of the remaining players in daoc play in the BGs and it takes no less effort to balance those then it does at 50. They have the logs, they can see who plays what and the kind of damage, kills, numbers etc to see when something is out of wack.

The logs Mythic has shows that the majority of players play at lvl 50 and not the various battlegrounds.

True obviously but still many more then you think make their homes in the BGs. With dwindling playerbase, they could make the decision to focus some attention on these areas as they recently did with the latest patch. Not it was not specific to a zone but was good changes none the less.
They have the capability to think outside the box, do things not done before, look at things previously off limits. You never know if its possible if you never ask.

yes and before you know it theyll make it so vamps dont lose power at all and stay at 100% by default

1 hand melee on a non-tank WS class which has STR as tertiary stat with max 70 base str.. yeah that's going to hurt, rofl... spend less time QQing and more time templating melee resists I guess!
If that is high melee DPS.. I wonder how you would classify skald 2H melee then... you probably appeal those people for cheating, right?
