meh ,you wasted your time saying all that. Everyone knew from the moment of the ML10 patch that gave the weapons so much love, that they would end up being nerfed, so it is your own fault for being so mad and upset about it. Everyone knew the weapons would be toned down at some point, thats why I haven't wasted my time to go out and buy one of the blades. Because now, they will be a lot cheaper

What's "strange" is that you're acting like they intentionally waited to nerf them just to screw with their playerbase. It couldn't be that they didn't realize with their limited resources available for internal testing just how overpowered these things were until they got data from the playerbase, and were also limited by their internal resources in how quickly they could fix that while taking care of other issues they felt were more important.
But obviously I'm just a troll, which makes me wonder why you would bother replying in the first place.

Yep. I'm more unhappy they went in the way they did than that they are getting nerfed.

The nerfs were needed, big time.
One of the things that set DAoC apart was that it wasn't completely reliant on gear, like some mmos are. Items such as what it is nerfed in this patch showed the ability to completely change a fight with one proc. I'm sorry, but people don't pay 300p for an item that isn't overpowered. I've played against plenty of characters that were out damaged by the procs off their weapons - it was ridiculous.
And in the end, as a grouping char, the illusion blades are still going to be excellent interrupt tools.

Uh, the best part of this patch is being able to quest PL in the BGs up to 40 so you can do the same thing with the repeatable dragon quests. Winning!

I guess they saw me grinding 30-40 last couple days and decided to give me a helping hand. With no more ML XP, I will look for best farm spots, not best MLXP+glass spots just best glass.. Arbiter change is nice always hated zoning to get a ML... but kinda a wierd change to combo with removing MLXP.
Conflag/illusion blade nerf: I just won a mephitic fang so i guess lucky me  |

just curious why you think it's weird? makes perfect sense to me. if a player is just doing the ML encounters (not buying them) they never have to step foot in the hall of heroes or whatever now.

Although not enough to make me return, this is a very nice patch. They are getting stuff done it seems. The past few patches have been decent. Maybe now the prices on ML10 junk wont be so sky high. Dont really care much for the ML stuff, all my toons where already ML10. The battlegrounds stuff is nice also, that is a fun aspect they put in i think. Being able to pvp/rvr while doing quests as well and gaining levels quicker not ever leaving an area you can do all things in. Good patch /clap
