Was the patch where you could level your artifacts anywhere you liked. Before that it was specific mobs or NF mobs. So you lost the levelers, and by doing so the entire foodchain collapsed. The level hunters was no more, the ppl hunting the hunters where no more, etc etc. It was basicly a disaster, everything was affected from griefers to soloers, to smallmans to 8v8 groups to even zergs! Now everything is around the keeps/bridges and thats about it.

Interesting take on things. I don't think you're completely wrong but I also don't think artifact levelling was the base of the "NF-action" pyramid so to speak.


if you want people to do something else than mindless zerging, you need to encourage them by offering incentives. it is not the only thing that went wrong in the frontier, but its part of it imho.
