...a necessary ability...

Yes, Slippery one! Everyone should have it, so make it innate, Mythic!

Ok, here are my thoughts. Purge is a very important aspect to any class, but I find that for lower RR characters you have to sacrifice too much damage and other RA's to get a decent level of Purge.

I'm not so opposed to the change as I am this rationale. If you give the low RR everything the high RR has then what was the point of having the level structure in place. It's not supposed to be balanced when characters of different levels/ranks fight each other. The higher one should have advantages, sometimes huge ones.

My statement alone has problems with its rationale, and I agree with what you are saying. But if you look at what I'm actually suggesting, you'll see it's still just a minor change and won't have much effect at all on the current 'balance' between high and low RR. And no reason a high RR couldn't use a slightly improved version of Purge 2 or 3 and still gain an advantage.

Purge should be free to all classes and the timers should be tied to your RR.

There should be a BIG glowing graphic that makes it painfully obvious that you hit Purge.

No, you chose dmg or survivability as it should be with todays system.

On all Healers/Casters imo and make all dmg spells work like LT does.
