No, it won't.
Arena's and same class/race world PvP(Yeah, PvP, not RvR).
Same crap, just a different pile.

People said that about Rift because the hype around Rift was ridiculous, then it turned out to be just a pretty average MMO. I'll believe the hype about GW2 when it actually appears.

Not really, gw had a level of complexity closer to daoc than all the other mmos, i bet it will be a great game. (i hope )

Not at all. The mechanics of DAoC in terms of interruption will not be seen again in any game that attempts to be mainstream. Instanced pvp appeals to the people who want fast action and even-numbered fights. Not many DAoC players want that, no matter what they claim, as evidenced by the amount of dodgers, zergers, jammers, etc.

DakRT: And 4 Scouts makes a [stealth] zerg huh?
Zyzyg: What anytime snare are you talking about?...Your anytime style should be Polar Rift. Clearly you don't play a Shadowblade.
Steot: Its fact, I just dont have proof.

I said close not equal, daoc is far more complex than every other mmo out.
Still it was a very good game, not the same boring profanity like wow or war.

Sorry, but EVE Online is a better MMO than DAoC in terms of complexity. But DAoC has an easier learning curve, and is fun to play, and has a decent RvR system.
