I hear he's working on an MMO were you can play an exceptionally talented games producer that battles against evil gold farmers who just ruin everything.
EVERYTHING!!!!
you run around with a ban hammer hitting them till they pop up 3 seconds later, proudly announcing your every ineffective swing whilst everything else falls to pieces around you
$15 dollars a month sub
you'll need a second sub if you want legs for your characters to be able to move around with
it's not so much that 'legs' are unbalancing (legs and alcohol are I'll grant you)
it's rather that there seems to be a balance issue between players whose characters have legs and those that don't

You know what encourages players to farm and buy and sell gold? When developers repeatedly add more and more overpowered gear to a MMO that is required for end game templates. Take a look in the mirror, Mark. You're part of the problem.

Lakobaath doesn't fall into this category, he's strongly supporting the game and the way Devs are dealing with things.

F2P is crap. I think it will ruin the game, and i'd rather pay $30 a month for a good game then pay nothing for a game that sucks. Everybody will run 8 accounts, they will RP farm each other and gold sellers will become even more popular, economy will go down the drain, and your hard earned realm points will mean nothing anymore. Not to mention they need to make their revenue somewhere, so they're either going to make you pay for gear that is good enough to crush everyone, and you wouldn't want to run without it, or their gonna sell realm points to you or something like that.
I think when the population drops below 500 and is falling steadily, then give up on the game, but instead of pulling the plug just hire 1 dev and make it F2P. The dev can be in charge of making sure the servers stay plugged in, and paying their monthly internet bill, while flying around in game on a magical wisp that drops the banhammer on people that are doing things they shouldn't be doing.
I don't play other games (cept the occassional CoD), but I just find all these F2P games to be like the biggest marketing scam in existence. They advertise that you can play for free but you really can't do that. It's like signs in stores that say "FREE" in really big writing, and then in tiny writing they give you the conditions for getting an amazing free pair of jeans.
