I had been having troubles with my BD not logging, you can prolly see some of my posts, but I found that it is a type of LD problem. If you are stuck at 100%, just hit ESC, and then log again on your toon, ands voila, it works. It takes a few extra minutes but I can finally play my BD again after a week.

I'd be curious to see the diff between the broken files and the working files with hotbars set up exactly as they were. That would help to narrow down the problem. Fortunately for me, but unfortunately for this exercise, I don't have any stuck toons that I've discovered to try it myself.

Deleting those files was for me a one time fix.

After logging out the same happens when I start the game. I 'fixed' it by adjusting another chars quickbar and then login the character.
Usually that works.

You guys are very advanced at this stuff so I will ask you. Just bought a new comp sys
And downloaded DAOC no problems but

When I log out and go to log back in it says it can't find the patcher

I reboot the whole system and I'm able to get back in but Id like to not have too. Any suggestions?

I had this problem on my 49 Eld a good number of times. Often i would just switch from Custom UI to Classic and it fixed it. i was logged out in CV PK.

Now tonight i am unable to log Necro in Leirvik in. Tried deleting the char files, tried switching UIs, tried loading on 2nd comp, nothing works. I can load other toons, but not this one. Super frustrating.

This is still broken for me. I can log in if I delete roaming files, reset quickbars, next time broken. I can hit esc when it stops loading, get to desktop, and get in the next time I load, but it is broken again the next time I try to log in.

Anyone else still having the problem?

I'm still having the issue on all HIGH level casters like 45 and up on mid alb and hib. I can log melees but nothin else. Tried the file thing, changing ui its a bug on mythics end

try breaking it down into steps and write down your steps as you go.

delete lotm folder (move or rename ), create another lotm folder. Load just one character then exit game.

restart game and see if you can reload and play that same character. then either redo qbars that character or load another character, exit game, rinse and repeat

This may work, but is not necessarily any less annoying than just having to log in twice every time. And I think the real point is, this is EA's job, not mine, and their customer support was absolutely clueless and not in any way helpful. The guy they "upgraded" me to obviously had no idea about the problem, a solution, or even the game DAOC.
