They should really put in significantly larger lock boxes. Let you pay for 3 or 6 months. It would help with this kind of issue if they did put in a loyalty bonus. Either that or the ability to set a character's personal money as the lock box and auto draw from their inventory instead.



I thought the CM worked as lockbox too ?

No-one would be penalised or harmed for logging into different realms, same as it is now. People just get bonuses for realm loyalty.

I'd like to see the farming spots in NF given a boost & add a few new ones in out of the way areas with better spawn rates, closer packed, some higher con mobs, decent glass/scale/alchemy drop rates etc. Give players an incentive to farm on the frontier rather than the home realm, without making it a necessity.

3) Umm no. This is a RVR/PVP game, not PVE. <--- DAOC is a hybrid MMO.

4) Relics need to mean something. I mean yeah lets just turn them into OP'd laby relics....

pvper will pvp for the sake of pvp

there is no need for an incentive, inventives to pvp is to force pvers into a pvp area.


UO proved that this is no way to make good pvp. when they introduced trammel, it killed most if not all pvp situations. then they added incentives to felucia, the pvp zone, and all it did was make the pvers zerg the shit out of anything to get what they wanted.


when daoc first came out, there was no reason to pvp other than the exp from killing people and bragging rights that your realm was the best.

Are we talking about Champ Spawns in UO?

Personally I think the best era for UO was pre Trammel when people would do Treasure Maps. (Champ spawns were just a further implementation of treasure maps).


I don't need an incentive for RvR etc. However, I do feel that the realm timer needs to be increased from 5 minutes to 30 if your character steps into RvR. I'll be honest, I swap realms a lot in a given night to combat whatever realm has the most numbers. However, I know a lot of people are with me in that this is a disincentive to do anything meaningful with relics. If I was forced to play on one realm more often I would help out with keep taking / relic taking a little more often, but since I switch so much I solo/smallman/8man until there is no more action and then switch realms and do the same.

The game needs something new to incentive pvp...that status quo just lets the game dwindle and doesn't give anyone a reason to re-up or continue to play...same old boring routine. There needs to be new content added or at least more options to pvp places...laby port hopping ganking or nf zerging isn't exactly the best options that I've ever dreamed for to fight other people. There should be more places to small man/solo without the porting in and out.
