If an extending group has lots of skill could they do just as well with mids as they would with albs? My friends say no because alb has better cc, farther distance better mezz, ext.

Mid and hib caster groups are both powerful.

It's not nearly as good as alb hybrid/caster groups in the same competent players' hands.

It may not be quite as good as Alb but it is still very doable with today's daoc. All 3 realms can push or pull depending on the group makeup and players they have. Both come down to group coordination. You have to call cc and respect it, and focus dps when it's time. That's the secret to daoc no matter what other tactics your group uses.

If all players in an 8v8 were equial gear/skill/rr7+/performed everything perfectly.. What team would remain standing? Also in the senerio Mids are the push group and Albs are the extenders.

Me personaliy prefere circle groups, they crush the others or atleast get a tie becuse the extenders just run away lol.

Depends on Realm.

Alb Extend + pets.

Alb casters/cleric/minstrels all have the get out of jail free rr5 that will stop a push group in their tracks While petting support. Very hard to get that momentum back.
