I say re-instate RP alternate ruleset. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Oh and thanks for mentioning it.

Give us the origins server. Everyone starts fresh.
Also, merge the Mordred and Gaheris players into the Ywain cluster, but cap them at rr 7.

It's funny to see people with RP flag on thinking it means they looking for RVR to gain RPs. Yes, bring that back. If Mordred is being kept alive with like 3 people on there, I don't see why they shut down the RP server.

I am a PvE person mostly. RvR for me is great for a little, but then I get bored. I really miss the old Gaheris days when there were hundreds of people on.
I play on Ywain now because I like company, and I still like DAoC better than any other game out there.
I have no idea how to fix things. I sure wish there was a way to get more people playing.

Dred needed more support for the rule set all the way back to TOA.
Even PVE got special encounters and rules.

Free to play would get a lot of people playing this game.
Mythic would need to fix some serious gameplay issues, like...
-Replace horrible CM/ME system with a functioning auction house, like WoW.
-Allow players to purchase Artifacts for BP's and Glass, without having to buy scrolls -> turn them in -> buy credit -> turn it in, etc.

DAoC population about to suffer a mild decrease. This reminds me, I have a friend who actually just plays battlegrounds in DAoC. This is because he doesn't feel DAoC is worth paying for so every 14 days he does a new free trial.
