So you came across duelers?

Not duelers. Groups of different realms bumping into each other, stopping, and /waving /hugging each other. Sorry, but this seems like a reason not to play anymore.

I was just asking.

I agree with the OP ,it makes the game lame and boring it should always be red = dead.

I was in KoT with you, what's up

Game's been out for 10 years, man; players know each other. That sense of community among players and notoriety among enemies is something that draws me into the game, and it's a feature of MMOs that's become lost in favor of the more modern cross server instanced PvP that pits millions of anonymous players against each other and feels more like an addon to a PvE game than anything else.

That's great and all, I enjoy the community aspect of games, but the battlegrounds/NF are the intended zone for enemy realm players to kill each other, not respect each other. Take that sh*t to VNBoards. It ruins the fun of the game for people who go there for the intended purpose of its design.

I remember realm pride, but that was a long time ago son. That's something you're greatful to have lived through and been a part of. But not everyone knows about VN and this isn't Iraq, etc. No disrespect but it's DAoC. Like they said, people know and respect each other by now through years of "diplomacy". Both playing with and against. This should be something to strive for in spite of our different realms both IRL and in game. If you can't adapt to this then too bad.

This isn't FPS Counter-Strike, etc, although they are great in their own right.

Both games have communities. Stick around and be a part of one of them.

I like Red=Dead. A lot.

I have really moved away from letting others slide just because. It gets old really fast, especially in scenarios like my old guildies where literally 25% of the people we came across I couldn't hit because they were friends.
I don't mind letting people go if they make interactions with me, like, it fits with roleplay. I'm fighting 2 mids on my Alb, a Celt comes down and helps me kill the mids. I /bow as a thanks, he does the same; now I have made a friend that maybe I will see on battlefield again, or maybe I'll never him... then maybe I'll kill him, maybe I won't.

I mean, on Mid I'm in the same alliance as Clumsy, I've talked to him before... He knows my Ment's name and still rolls me, I don't cry about it; I joke around a lot about it with him, but I don't think twice about jamming his group when they're already engaged while I'm solo, and killing their support or casters. Just how the game was meant to be played IMO.

Like every other zerger, that is because he doesn't have the mental capacity to both read names and make decisions. Seriously, you want to use the extreme case of lack of respect as an example...?

Dark PKC, i like you. Ive read what you wrote here... and i like you. It probably helps a bit that I imagine you making sarcastic comments while looking like stewie over there waving your arms, but your not stupid. Thats rare on VN.

Also, seems like not only did the OP qq, he made a VN account just to say he was qq'ing. I like if its red its dead for the most part, but not in a traditional sense that leads to zerging solos with a fg. or even 3-4. 2 seems fairish... whatever though, basically, pay my subs and then tell me how to play.

All to often ive pulled off of solos because of adding infs (i play alb) and then they die soon. And cry to me about not killing them and i explain to them i was in the process of doing exactly that, before they interrupted. It usually gets more heated than that. I usually end the argument with "Pay my subs then tell me how to play."

...yep.

OK you were in thid there is now some pve quest in ea bg for bounty point. For the most part ppl leave them alone cause there are enough of them they take down soloers and duo pretty easy and the cf/zergs have enough to kill with other realms pvpers
