It doesn't matter though, he and the OP are the type of people to specifically avoid acknowledging posts that prove them wrong. Then when reference is made to them, pretend that it never happened and that they were correct all along. See also, 32-bit integers holding player money, Dwarf BDs, Hunters needing QC because they can get interrupted, etc.

Zyzyg: What anytime snare are you talking about?...Your anytime style should be Polar Rift. Clearly you don't play a Shadowblade.

I am starting to see why you make the posts you do. I thought it may have been trolling, but you really are ignorant of many mechanics of this game. Can I get a response to why you want Dwarf BDs? And yes, I have a large football shaped head and inventions/weapons.
Dwarves have more midichlorians.

It actually is a 'true lifetap', regardless of how it was casted. There is only one type of lifetap mechanic. Disease doesn't even cut down heals gained from omni procs, which are 'vicariously casted' on the player through the item. Not to mention that the shade isn't the one who gets the hp, IT IS the pet that receives it.
You are trying to argue a dumb point just because he made you look dumb... it isn't helping your cause.
I'm not trying to "argue" any point. I was just trying to address the posters question, instead of needlessly mocking and dismissing him.
Not everyone has been playing this game since day one, and posting on the forum an average of ten times a day for nine years.

Not being correct is fine, but then you went on to insult me while being wrong in both your answer and your interpretation of the question. Maybe watching Family Guy increases your aptitude (probably not, but still).

The only time I insulted you, was after you had insulted the OP, and then insulted me for even entertaining the question. Read the thread over, and see who is out of line here.

Exactly.
Since it's not a true lifetap (see above reference to vicarious pet life-tap), this is where the question comes from.
I may not know the answer, but you don't even seem to know the question. I think you're missing Family Guy, inbred.
Are you completely incapable of reading? Even lifetaps that are directly cast from a player class (Sorc, Cab, SM, Ani, VW, etc) are not affected by disease. This is your third or fourth time trying to correct me while falling flat on your face. Kill yourself.
This sort of answer, without the "/sigh", or the insulting pictures, or the snotty comments, would go a long way towards making this a better environment for new and old players learning about the game.

My implication was that the explanation shouldn't have been needed. Then the further guess that it's a vicarious lifetap... If you get lifetapped by a necro pet, the log reads that the pet hits you, so it is the recipient of the life gain anyway (logically and syntactically). And it doesn't take much to notice that in the log...

You two have a short history of posting arguments based on faulty logic, and then totally avoiding counterarguments as if you don't. So even though the question was innocent, you can't blame people for throwing it in her face and basically putting the merits of other posts into question.
