Considering the Necromancer is casting vicariously through a pet, should a disease on the pet effect the necromancer's own lifetap?
My best answer would have to be yes, since it is the Necromancer pet casting the lifetap, not the Necromancer, and all effects on the pet should effect the necromancer.
/sigh, disease doesn't affect any class's lifetap at all...

Exactly.
Since it's not a true lifetap (see above reference to vicarious pet life-tap), this is where the question comes from.
I may not know the answer, but you don't even seem to know the question. I think you're missing Family Guy, inbred.

Are you completely incapable of reading? Even lifetaps that are directly cast from a player class (Sorc, Cab, SM, Ani, VW, etc) are not affected by disease. This is your third or fourth time trying to correct me while falling flat on your face. Kill yourself.

It's a lifetap. I don't know what else to tell you. Lifetap's aren't affected by disease. Deal with it...

It actually is a 'true lifetap', regardless of how it was casted. There is only one type of lifetap mechanic. Disease doesn't even cut down heals gained from omni procs, which are 'vicariously casted' on the player through the item. Not to mention that the shade isn't the one who gets the hp, IT IS the pet that receives it.
You are trying to argue a dumb point just because he made you look dumb... it isn't helping your cause.
