Zyzyg: What anytime snare are you talking about?...Your anytime style should be Polar Rift. Clearly you don't play a Shadowblade.

You not only have Stewie as your avatar, you talk just like him. I wonder if you look like him too.

I am starting to see why you make the posts you do. I thought it may have been trolling, but you really are ignorant of many mechanics of this game. Can I get a response to why you want Dwarf BDs? And yes, I have a large football shaped head and inventions/weapons.

No it actually increases their lifetap damage

What kind of inventions?

Dwarves are tougher in the long run than trolls. A dwarf would be invincible as a BD. It's got electrolytes.

I'm new to Midgard and haven't played in 5 years. Only been back since November when Winter break came. I wish I hadn't because DAoC is ruining my life again....sigh.

This doesn't compute.

From the early seasons, a mind control device, weather control device, carbonite freeze gun, laser gun that hides in a sandwich, time machine, a ship that could change its size to be microscopic, a robot shaped like Peter Griffin, and more.

You know what else could help a BD survive? Casting more quickly to supplement its insta interrupt and pets, which requires dex. And don't be dumb, no one good makes a Troll BD for reasons other than aesthetics and gimmicks.

It's an interesting quandary.

Considering the Necromancer is casting vicariously through a pet, should a disease on the pet effect the necromancer's own lifetap?

My best answer would have to be yes, since it is the Necromancer pet casting the lifetap, not the Necromancer, and all effects on the pet should effect the necromancer.

This is of course sans any time playing a necromancer, but just applying my logic to the question.

When has disease ever affected LT? Give you a clue... NEVER.

It affects healing only. Like slayer/si heal procs, casted heals, friar heal proc, etc.

Only issue Necro pets have with disease that should be fixed is the fact that it doesn't snare their pet like it does to normal players. I could imagine the coding for that would be near impossible considering they have no idea how to code pets in the first place.
