several folks have said that it's daoc 2 - a much improved version of daoc's rvr.
Where did you see this? From what I saw in the videos and from what is being said in another thread, it sounds like the WvW is pretty uninteresting. I'm really disappointed. I don't know if I'll be playing after seeing this and reading what people are saying now that the NDA is down. There wasn't a single moment in any of the videos I saw where I actually wished I was playing.

What I get from this video:
Ok its got 3 main areas, same as daoc
its got a whole nother area which is im guessing an improved version of agramon.
UI seems to be a little DAoCish...specially the tabs...they suck.
Graphics, pretty good.
Fairly sluggish model movements, seem a bit unrealistic.
Very nice map. Probably the best MMO map I have seen tbh
They stole daoc realm colors...red green and blue. Bastards.
I'm a little turned off by the /copy & paste of the terrain. I know daoc's is pretty much the same way. But it's a new mmo I can expect something from it.
I really don't like the 'team' thing. REALLY wish they had separate realms
the overall spells and location HUD is kind of cool.
Overall...I'm impressed. I watched the first video as well. It seems really large scale. I dunno how they are going to manage that. I would guess by not having as many keeps, I can't get much from the videos on that. Did notice a bit of lag.
I have been looking at a couple of video lately. I think I am going to change my stance on the 3 month wait. Only because it won't have a sub fee though. At the very least I can log in whenever I want and just dink around. We'll see how things go as they get closer to launch.
If the PvP is good, as it looks like it will be as close to daoc as we can hope for...well maybe not that close, but seems decent. If it's good, I'll take a stab at it
tl;dr version: I like some stuff, don't like others, may try it at release. I flip flopped.
