6. TERMINATION

A. By Mythic Upon Cessation of Any or All Information Services Offered Under EUALA

In the event Mythic, in its sole discretion, ceases to provide any or all of the information services offered hereunder, then Mythic may terminate this Agreement, close all Accounts, and cancel all of the rights granted to you hereunder upon not less than thirty (30) days prior notice, which notice may be delivered via Mythic's "patching" system, or posted on Mythic's web site, or via electronic mail. YOU HEREBY UNDERSTAND, AND ACKNOWLEDGE, THAT THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT MYTHIC SHALL CONTINUE OFFERING ACCESS TO ITS SYSTEM ON A GOING-FORWARD BASIS. YOU SPECIFICALLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE TIME YOU SPEND PLAYING DARK AGE OF CAMELOT(TM) IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY, AND THAT YOU CLAIM NO INTEREST IN THE VALUE OF SUCH TIME AS REPRESENTED BY THE BUILDING UP OF THE EXPERIENCE LEVEL OF YOUR CHARACTER AND/OR THE ITEMS YOUR CHARACTER ACCUMULATES DURING YOUR TIME PLAYING DARK AGE OF CAMELOT(TM). All that means is that this game isn't open forever and they can pull the plug at any time, we all know this

It's how all MMO's operate

It's purely to cover themselves when some whiney kid breaks out a lawsuit cause they stole his cloudsong etc

Look at how many people put in game accomplishments above RL accomplishments. People bragging that they have 3 LE titled characters and crap as if they were PHD's. Do you really think that these weirdos arent going to go ape shi when the game goes poof and their e peens are virtually castrated?

Well it takes about the same amount of time to achieve LE on 3 toons as it probably would take to get a phd

Yeah my first toon was an R8 Bard. I had over 100 days /played just before ToA came out. Then I took a nice long 2-3 year break.

That paragraph is not new. It has been in the EUALA since 2002.


The EUALA has not changed since 2002. Every word is exactly the same.


I just compared the 2002 and current EUALA's with a diff utility to make sure.
