There are spellcraft tools out there, that will help you create your template with database, etc. and then just automatically create the needed quickbars.
Which programs do both those things? People tell me Korts used to but doesn't anymore. That's the only one I've heard of.

Are you saying Loki does both those things? That's news to me.

It's a binary file in a proprietary format. I'm surprised.
lol, wow me too. Why on Earth would anyone go through the trouble of making a proprietary binary format for a tool like GB?
Very odd, someone needs to read up on XML.
Although I can understand doing 'ini', CSV, or other plain-text formats just for simplicity's sake, but a binary format is very odd in this day and age.

Nothing relevant here, was just browsing threads and ran across this.. the first page was hilarious.. you handled yourself quite well!
nice alt vn account robbie, STOP CREATING VN ACCOUNTS AND PATTING YOURSELF ON THE BACK! it is obvious from the creation dates that you are doing it.
I am not his alt vn account, and I will say good job and thanks for the efforts and functionality~

as Tharielle said. there is no reason for you to add a interface to select gems. if i have to do this. i will better do it ingame, that should be faster... the only thing that is useful and that is faster is loading the spellcrafting file from the spellcrafting tool and creating a quickbar out of it. thats what the tool does i posted before (for moras only).
there are only two useable spellcrafting calculators out there...
1) moras ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/moras/ ): best usability and free. but for none german speakers no good and up to date database and no auto calculate
2) loki ( http://www.syntheticrealms.com/loki_daoc/loki_download.php ): not free, bad item handling, bad interface but auto calculate
all other calculators out there are far behind.

Several people requested it. They explained above and on the Mojo forum why they wanted it.

That's your preference
I use Korts and still find it to be the most useful out there

Ive used korts, loki, and gearbunny. ( I havnt even heard of moras (but im not german)
I prefer Gearbunny (omni crafter alone make it worth it)
If only there was an up to date item database

As Vanesyra said, Moras + the little add-on does it.
