Who cares if BoA, Citi, etc charge for debit cards. I mean really, if they want to charge me 100 dollars a month because they can, and just flat out say that, that's their right. You can change banks just fine if you don't want to pay those fees. People need to stop bitching because a private company makes them pay money to use them. That's the whole purpose of a private company isn't it? People in this country have stopped paying any attention to what is rational, and have just started, oh that isn't fair to me, waaaaa. Change banks. There are literally thousands of banks who provide the same services as the major banks, and don't charge all those fees.
You're right. And the people have the right to voice decent about unfair fees being imposed on millions upon millions of people by people that are already filthy rich. But yeah, people should start using credit unions more. It's one way to weaken their hold on our wallets and hopefully eventually the our government.
But if you are okay with the United States political system being bought and paid for by the filthy rich. Man I just don't know what to say to ya.

The problem is that they haven't really solidified their argument, but in general it's to bring awareness about general greed and excessive exec. salaries and bonuses while they drove us off a cliff, as well as corporate influence in politics through the Citizens United decision and lobbying..
That's actually a strength though too. The movement is composed of a lot of different people who have different complaints. And the lack of a unified complaint that can be boiled down into one or two sentences is driving the mainstream media (and particularly Fox) nuts, because they can't just dismiss their argument or throw some talking head to argue the counter point and call it a day. And a big reason that they don't have a tidy "we want A and B" argument is because there is one no simple solution that address all of the problems with the current state of things. Right now they're making people aware of the problems as well as peoples' dissatisfaction with the way things are, and I think they've done a pretty good job of doing that.

Aye. It's not like it's funded by Koch Brothers, being backed by Fox News with non stop propaganda. With corporate money busing thousand upon thousands of people all around the country to their events. That would be more akin to the Teahadist in that grassroot movement called the Tea Party. The footmen of the billionaires.
Oh it's class warfare alright and it's not the poor who are waging it.
