I think alot of tension between guilds and people stream from the fact that alot of people come from many different gaming backgrounds, and they are looking for different things out of this game. Add in the fact that the game is based around a Realm. This also creates baggage for people who dont think in a realm like manner.
For example, I dont consider myself a hibernian. I dont give a fuck about hibernia, it could turn to a wasteland for all I care. I care about my friends in the game, and about my own guild....but just becuase you are from my realm dosent mean I want to work with you, talk with you etc. Even though I am quite pleasent to most in the game becuaes I am generally not a dick.....but I would love to be able to come through the ligen gates and pbae and kill the hib groups massing there. Would be good fun..does that mean I hate you? no...but I just think some of us play for a different reason...I would rather kill most hibs than I would albs or mids...becuase I dont give a fuck where you are from, I want to kill you regardless.
And just becuase you are not hardcore pvp? that dosent make you a bad person. If you enjoy the game for pve raids, getting items etc....the more power to you. Just becuase I play for the pure pvp aspect dosent make me any better than you....thats just my game. And that goes for the people out there taking keeps everynight.....thats your thing, your doing a good job.....but just becuase we are realmates you cant put baggage on someone to help just becuase we are hibernians. Or at least I dont think so.
ALOT of people in this game come from games such as everquest, wher eit is more of a social even than a mass killing game....but you cant say you are better than them.
Yes kos is the best pvp guild hands down. Look at the roster, I have never quite seen anything like that....only people over a million rps on this server hibernia, all kos...
but we just like to pvp...dosent make us better than you.
Just keep doing what you truley enjoy to do, and you wont get bored of the game. Becuase if you start sacrificing your own fun for some artificial nation such as hibernia...you will soon quit the game.
So we can all get along...even though I would love to kill most of you...it isnt a personal thing...its a video game.
BTW im getting DSL in the apartment soon, so ill be back on to do some raping wherever the fun is.
I dont know if you guys will understand my post, but hopefully you will see my point that we are a diverse group..which will cause arguements, but its a video game...lighten up....play the way you want to play and dont try to criticize others for playing that way.
One day I think it would be fun if kos could get together and kill all the hibs outside ligen, and have someone open the gates for the AAR trolls..so they can go on a rampage and kill all the newbs exping. That is beautiful but unlikely.
In the same way oxygen is a drug. If you know what I mean.
