Nope, actually at the time, I wanted to join a guild and was new to the server. Somehow, some way, people took this thread and turned it into something else.
My last comment was sarcasm in nature, I am sorry I did not make that clear enough.
I thought I did the "/sarcasm off" line, but I did not.
Sorry, it was not clear!
P.S. Personally, I was amazed at where this thread went, but I was not happy that I never got the direct answer I was looking for. Also, to me it appears that it was a 1 person against all thread and not a response to why any guild may be good or bad for people. Anyway, I went to a guild that i could have fun being in.

Storm,
After all this, I am really curious, which guild did you go with, if you do not mind me asking? You said one you liked and had fun in, which I would hope would be the basis for picking a guild.

I went with my experience with people in the game... Gledrin was a big help to my introduction to the realm. So, I went with someone that I knew I could get along with and also we chatted some on the Internet before I joined.
On Galahad, I am in Drow and from what it sounds like we are somewhat similar to KoS. We are strictly about RVR and effecient groupings. Our goal in rvr is 30k a night RPS per person and we normally make it too. We also tend to go places that other people are not able to go withiout an alliance. In short an UBER guild is who we are.
I am a big fan of having fun with this game and trying my best not to pi$$ of people that are part of my gaming expereince. I have not been on much (Lancelot Server) lately due to getting my 50 bard (Jenkin It)on Galahad done with all his Epic's and also getting over 400k RPS
