It is unfortunate, but given the comments from a few KoS that they really do believe everyone else sucks. I have heard as much in game and on these boards. They do not care about RvR. They do not care about helping their realmates. These are things THEY have said. The only thing we can do is take what they have said, form our own opinions of it and move on.


Melkorai made some statements earlier that helped to form my opinion on the matter. Melkorai is GOOD guy. He is the nicest KoS person I have met. Given that the statements that bothered me are coming from the nicest guy in their guild, there are bound to be problems with them relating to other people in the realm.

Just FYI - It's quite true that I'm *NOT* making any 16.2 or 16.5 weapons until 1.51 goes live.


16.2=green con ATM, so 99% is the best i can do (and it's rare rare rare)

16.5=blue con atm, so 98% is the best I can do (also rare, and DAMN expensive)


Come 1.51 I'll be able to make any item in the game with the same chance for 94%-100%. I'm already getting lots of talk from folks that want their weapons recrafted once the patch goes live. In the end I'm saving myself some additional workload is all.


I'd prefer to see y'all once, take the time to get ya the weapon you desire and will be happy with, then see ya again when that wears out. Instead of making a weapon that's marginal and seeing that person every few days when they get the cash up for a recraft, until they get a weapon they are happy with.


I went through the same thing whne they did the patch upping player made quality from 90% base to 94%.


Also I only work in netherite and arcanite atm - except for guildies and fiends. There are just too many folks out there that are working hard at raising their skills and they NEED the mid range business. I don't need it, and honestly can afford to be a bit more picky in that regard.


Also, you are correct, I don't like to answer questions about crafting while I'm on Lochib. Lochib is not the crafter, Lochibeonn is the crafter. I also have a very nice website set up that details everything you would care to ask, and answers all your questions - you can even place orders there.


It was fine for a bit, and I didn't mind folks talking to me on Lochib about crafting. But it started to get out of hand, I'd spend 3 hours in TNN taking orders and banging out weapons, or spamming for business and scratching my ass with no orders. Only to have the guild log on, get fired up for RvR and then close shop log on Lochib to do RvR and get five or six tells from folks along the lines of "Dude! where ya been all day? I need a weapon now!".


Also random folks were sending Lochib tells while I was RvR. This got to be a problem. usually folks were nice and I could just tell them I was buys and look for Lochibeonn, and all was good. A few folks however wanted to get into borderline philosophical discussions on dps vs delay, cost effectiveness, etc etc etc etc and nauseum. This is problematic. if ya do a /who lochib and I'm in the frontier someplace, odds are I'm thigh deep in the alb horde and just don't have time to talk. Or I'm running like hell from the alb horde and don't have time to talk. Or I'm deep in discussion on how we're going to string the bastards out and kill them 1 by 1 and leave before the rest of the horde catches up. Or we're discussing what keep to take, and the logistics involved - and don't have time for much else. It's just almost impossible to give my full attention to keeping my party alive/the raid running as planned, AND debate the finer points of weaponcrafting. In the end somone gets shorted, and often times it's both.


Again, there are many crafters able to service mid level needs. Rupp I know for a fact is willing to do Dolomite up to his current level (low netherite). There are others available as well.
