dont know what to say.. I know in EQ, we had several deaths also. One of them of a very close friend of mine whom I had grouped with very much. I never New Bruic all that well but have ran across him a few times, and had hunted with him a few times. I am greatly disturbed by this event..
may he rest in peace with his maker... I belive that he can only be truly happier now where he is. May the Spirits be with you my friend...and may you keep an eye out for your loved ones...

I've played my share of games, and more than one of my fellow comrades have fallen in real life. None have saddened me nearly as much as the death of Bruic. Most of you know that I am Reshapis 2.0, I announced it here when I first acquired Reshapis. Bruic and Kiedra both welcomed me to Albion and were the first people to help me. Neither of them ever treated me the way most 2.0s do, they treated me as if I was a close friend when I had just arrived. For your kindness I will always remember you. The grim reaper was lucky he encountered you under anesthesia Mike, I'm sure you would have given him one hell of a fight.

A selfsacrifing man was depicted under the character Bruic Elfslayer. A paladin that would stop to rez others despite the massive Albion zerg that forged ahead of him knowing that he could be headlong together with them raking in those realm points. I know, cause I've been rezzed by him many a times. Bruic Elfslayer will be missed.
My prayers be with Mike Bobber and his family this day. God be by your side - rest in peace Bruic.

I said it in game earlier today but will say it again:
After chatting, talking, joking and playing hours upon hours with him I saw very clearly that he was not role playing a noble, generous paladin, it was simply the way he was both in game and in real life.
We were in-game friends and I will miss him.
I also send my prayers to his family, prayers of strength so that they may overcome such a great loss, in time.

My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and faimly.
I was fortunate enough to spend many days with him in DF, he was a good, kind and generous player.
I am sorry I could not heal you and take the pain away one more time friend......
