You will be missed Bru.

You were the 'big brother' to all of us back in the halcyon days of Knights of Justice.

Not always patient with me <smiles in fond memory>, but kind, generous and willing to share thoughts of wisdom.

You will be missed my brother.

Some time ago several months in the past I felt I had enough of the game. I popped on to see a few people and exchange a few words before I figured I'd probably let my account expire, and heck I might check out this new dungeon that was for all three realms.

I talked with some and against my better judgement was dragged to go running around in this new dungeon with these people whom I had spent a fair amount of time with before in Lyonesse, killing the required Tanglers.

Miora, Anushmir, Raggnor, Lathirac, Galdwin, Fidell, myself, and a fellow named Bruic all formed up... fairly regularly in Darkness Falls. The group chemistry was good and these people knew what they were doing. I owe it to Bruic in large part since it was his stern desire to see people reach 50th that propelled me forwards. He lifted me up by my bootstraps and almost force marched me through level after level, along with most of the Sleeping Dragons. I remember how even at times Bruic would complain about not feeling well, but still he'd play, despite our protests that he rest, he kept at it. Even times when he was feeling the effects of the drugs he was taking he would still play.

I had known he was having health problems for so long and I heard more about it from his friends near him than from himself. In the last month we'd fallen out of touch... he'd not been around, although we would still talk from time to time via /send. Nothing important, nothing ground-breaking. Just a few words and at times a few chortling jokes and wry comments.

This came as a surprise.

I don't have anything more to say.

I am sad.

Just another reminder that every person, every day, should be cherished.

I, too, will pray for his family for strength through these sad times.
