Maybe they'll use our insanity and make it our new RA. Once every 20 minutes, the theurgist goes insane, and sends one pet of every type at every enemy on the field!!

And yet another bump. Trying to keep this on track to discuss and help theurgists, not any other classes. There are plenty of other classes that need help, and if you agree, you are free to start your own thread on it.


Many people from all three realms agree in this thread that theurgists need help.


Would be nice to hear something from someone at Mythic that they got the message and are passing on the info. Or is this thread too long for them to read?


As for the morons and trolls, posts like this usually attract them. Just ignore them. They obviously didnt take the time to read the other pages, so dont take the time to reply to them. No need to dispel any rumors that theurgists are uber, we all know its not true

I agree, there are many other classes that need "upward tweaking"...but none so much as us. In our class, we hold the game's 1st and 2nd crappiest spec lines. This situation isn't helped any by Mythic continuously "nerfing indirectly" or plain & simple ignoring of our class.


Mythic, I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but Theurgists ARE paying customers too, ya know. The only way I'd tolerate any more of this sheer negligence & not knowing your own damn game, were to be if I was playing for free. Either fix my damn Earth/Ice theurgist, or I should be playing for free, providing the last failing 6 sec PBT in PvE...probably in my entire server.

Mythic, fix the worst caster class in the game.

Personaly I think the only upgrade that may be needed is to the water and earth pets. The pets are supposed to be usefull after all. Personaly I think the pets should be instant cast with 10 sec timers instead of castable. But thats just me.


Else so does the Theurgist have the most utility of any cloth caster. So its not strange that the damage options are a little less them some.


AE CC (root and/or mez depending on spec), PBT, damage add and haste. This isnt crappy support spells.

/sniff I'm specced in the two crappiest lines in the game. My first toon and my only 50 and I would play it over all my others but it's not too much fun anymore...I'm playing every other class in the game and loving every single one more that my Theurgy. Abaddon's TL report is great and hopefully someone at mythic will actually read it and listen.

Ok so I'm guessing you don't or have not ever played a theurg, sorry there are no water pets, and why would we want a insta cast pet with a 10 second timer? I mean really we could cast 3 times that amount with how we are doing it now.


We have the shortest mez in the game, no one specs IC so no one has the AE ROOT from the ice line, Pbt is a good thing been nerfed a couple of times but you don't see many people with 6 or 8 sec pbt these days because its stupid to go earth. Damage could be given by wizards so really the only thing your theurg is bringing to a group is a haste spell. Wow one support spell, big whoop.

Err, what? My sorcerer runs rings around my theurgist in terms of what he can do.

On top of all that, he's far more effective in PvE than my theurgist ever was.

Ice Theurgists need PBAOE and Earth Theurgists need GTAOE .. and maybe a better single DD.
