Theurgists may need love, but please remove chain stunning pets first. They are WAY overpowered. I can life with a stun with an immunity timer, but chain stun is plain wrong. Give an 1 minute immunity timer to the destinations or remove the stun ability at all. Then give Theurgists some reasonable love.

Not sure how you can say its overpowered, since air elementals cost 12% (about 9% with 50 focus staff) of the theurgists power, live only 20 seconds, hit for almost nothing, can be stunned, killed by confusion, StT'd, outrun, or easily killed, and only randomly (low chance) attempt the stun proc, which (if not resisted, since its a low level spell) only stuns for 1 second...


Anyway, the primary thrust of this thread is the earth and ice lines.


Think about it... just making earth more appealing means fewer air theurgists, ergo fewer air elementals

I couldn't agree more. Air pets need a 9 sec base stun with a 1 min immunity timer, just like many of the other stuns currently in the game.


Dismissing the chainstun issue would be a very helpful clarification.

Yeah, take the stun proc away from wind pets and make it a baseline wind spell instead. Wind pets do *not* chain stun. If you are chain Stunned by wind pets the theurgist used *at least* 4 pets. Thats 6s casting time IF the theurgist is casting at cap speed. He is also doing *0* damage in that 6s and has burned 40% of his power if he has 10s bubble on. While he has effectively made you useless (Assuming you don't have determination) for 20s he has also just taken himself out of the fight and labled himself as a squishy caster on the battlefield. Its not like a hib baseline stun which is harder to see the caster of and removes you from the playing field but allows the caster to nuke with ease.


I'm also fairly certain the stun is affected by resists. 50% resists on (guessing) body means its a .5s stun. fear.

Dark Age of Camelot: Utopia


Mythic Entertainment today announced a new upcomming expansion, Dark Age of Camelot: Utopia. This expansion contains all the broken promises that have been made to the player base but never implemented. Also, the expansion introduces several new races and classes as well as perfectly balances every class in the game, except for the soon to be extinct Theurgist class that will soon be phased out of the game.

Chain stunning by theurgist pets was removed by Mythic in the 1.52 patch. People claiming that it has happened to them since them are lying.
