... we got major love? what? we got more range for people to see our pets coming and run? no cc? this is all great, cept that most of the time the pets never make it to the target, they cost way too much power, and they do pathetic damage. major love would be putting theurgs up to where all the other classes are, giving them 3 new useful spell lines in each spec, boost dmg on our RA, and give us something to compensate for the pbt nerf.

much love for theurgists
i play a runemaster and thank god everyday that midgard only has 3 casters (SI included). That means that all of the neato abilities casters get in DAOC are on either a runie or SM. I feel sorry for the albs because u have like 7 casters and everything is so spread out =(
I get to nuke, or PBT, or bolt. Nice options. Theurgs don't quite have this comfort.

You poor deluded fools.
If you think that Animists are an improvement on the design of Theurgists, you need to quit your armchair Game Developing.
Animists are the least played class in the game for a lot of good reasons. They can be a frustrating class to play and require a patience and a learning curve to understand how to play them effectively.
And even then, they are still in a semi beta state with plenty of idiosyncratic bugs that may never be completely fixed.
Animists and theurgists share the same problems in many ways.

Earth Theurgs do need loving. I leveled a Earth Theurg to 50 and would have to agree that the spell line is seriously lacking.

Did you even open the DAoC box, you 'tard? We didn't get JACK. Siege Bolt, the completely useless RA...has been "fixed" to be completely useless. Pets that're useless & huge mana drains...have been fixed to be still a wandering pile of crap. And now PBT...has been "fixed" to be useless.

Getting power-leveled does NOT count in judging a class being effective. Any moron (like yourself) can level a class up to 50. Try taking that Level 50 Earth Theurgist gimp out to the RvR, and see how laughably useless we are.
Plus, given that your sig has Midguard on it, and you haven't posted worth a who-ha-diddly, you must either be a troll, or an uber newb. In either case...

With all due respect, it's my opinion that Theurgists are the best casters in the game right now. Even Earth theurgists.
Why? They have pets. Pets are helping the to-hit problems TREMENDOUSLY on epic-ish mobs, from sents all the way up to Sidi mobs. I agree that our class needs some major upgrading, especially earth, but still...
Just realize that you, right now, have the power to make those level 67 mobs die in half the time - dump a power bar full of pets, and sit down and watch your tanks and casters start to land at rates closer to pre-patch levels.
