1.) When I was 7 years old, my grandma taught me the trick where you peel an apple and fling it over your shoulder to find out the intial of the name of the man you are to marry. It was a J and I have always been infatuated with James' and Jims' and Johns' and Jasons' but never been with any with that initial.


2.) I was adopted by my second cousin and my biological mother was adopted as well.


3.) Most of my characters are variants of my childrens' names...Kayla Briann and Alannah Rhiann.


4.) When I was married, my last name became Starr and I never could figure out why people gave me odd looks when I told them my name was Tia Starr.


5.) I love baking and making candies, but I don't like to eat sweets at all and I absolutely abhor chocolate. I do have an addiction to Tangerine flavoured Altoids.


6.) I am a Beatle-maniac, except I was borne twelve years after they hit big in the United States.


7.) I have never done any drugs and do not take medicines. Hardest chemicals I have ever had in my system are nicotine and kahlua.


8.) The first boy I ever kissed had the initials DR and he and I are still friends...hrmm sixteen years later.


9.) I pierced my belly button on Easter 1999 out of boredom (my hard drive crashed). It didn't hurt the first time I ran the needle through at all; it was when I realized I needed to get an even larger needle hole made to fit the hoop in the hole that pain set in.


10.) I am a natural red head, but somehow didn't get the freckles.

2. I am the owner of the worlds largest dog, A Mastiff. (he really isnt the largest, but he is over 200 lbs.) His best friend is our cat.

1) Spent 4 yrs in the Marine Corps programming and maintaining Radar Jamming Equipment For F-18's, AV-8b's, A-6's, and EA-6B's

2) I have lived in South Carolina, Tennesee, California, Colorado, Minnesota, and Japan. But Minnesota has and always will be my home.

3) I'm 100% norwegian but can't speak a word of norwegian

4) I dropped out of college after 3yrs because I just couldn't take it anymore...I was a Chemical Engineer major.

5) I find that there are very few situations that I cannot find a sarcastic comment for.

6) I have changed careers more times than is probably good for me. Marine Corps, managed a pizza place, Environmental Consultant, Sysadmin for a java hosting company, Java Developer (current)

hrm, I'll give this a shot:


1. I love dogs and don't like cats as much. Mainly because since dogs are a pack animal, they will look at the owner as the pack master hence easier to train. Cats are too damn independant and don't listen worth crap unless you throw something at them.


2. I had ~17 traffic infractions by the time I hit 21. What can I say, I love fast cars (all speeding tickets).


3. I have my BS in Software Engineering. Tried a double major but found out after the 2nd term that hardware really isn't my thing.


4. I like to redecorate/landscape. I love making something rundown into something real nice.


5. I like Pontiac sports cars and Dodge trucks.


6. I've been married to a stripper and was a DJ at the strip joint she worked at. (don't ask, I was young and stupid )


7. I really dislike getting drunk, I usually stop drinking once I start getting a buzz (hence I'll nurse a beer forever). But I like the taste of beer.


8. I'm a out-of-practice classically trained pianist.


9. I'm the only one out of four children to ever get divorced (let alone twice). My other three siblings are happily married.


10. When I was 16 I was invited to try out for the keyboard player upcoming opening in Paul Revere and the Raiders doing their county fair shows as a keyboard player. My parents wouldn't let me drop out of hs.

8) Waits tables at a country club restraunt called the "Firewater Cafe"

10) Debates on the collegiate level, broke into finals at around 23rd seed (out of about 300 teams) my sophomore year. My partner and I lost in double octofinals though. (Aka top 32 teams in the nation). Quit debate after that but might pick it up this year

1. I was born with 11 fingers. Currently I have 10.


2. I played college football for a small school. Until I was asked to not return due to some issue they had with me neglecting to actually go to any classes. DAMN YOU ROGUE!


3. Ended up clearing that up and getting a JD.

7. I played on Elendor MUSH for several years(Tolkien roleplaying) and still am friends with someone from that game after oh... almost 10 years? Damn has it been that long Hafwen?

9. I love to catch big Northern Pike on ultralight tackle and take a week long fishing trip to do so every year.

1). I grew up living on a ranch and have my own registered cattle brand (Diamond D).


2). First vehicle I ever drove was a tractor on the ranch at 7 years old.(got it stuck on the cattle guards and cried till daddy came and rescued me)


3). I was in Berlin when the wall was opened at Brandenburg (sp?) Gate. My parents saw me on TV and freaked out.


4). I was in Moscow in 1991 during the coup d'etat and stood at the barricades outside of the Russian White House. My parents saw me on CNN and freaked out.


5). I have a B.A. in Art History and a B.S. in International Business with a focus on Russian and an M.A. in Russian studies
