1. Watching my husband try DAoC was the first time I had ever heard of "Roleplaying".
2. When we were kids my dad would tie sleds together behind the snowmobile and pull us around the neighborhood (country, private road) for hours on end. I once fell off the front sled in such a way that the back sled ran over me and dragged the rope through my mouth in the process. At least I was wearing a scarf and the scars are in the corners and barely noticeable.
3. I hate Jello, whipped cream, and raw tomato, mostly because of the textures.
4. I'm an animal person, but due to time and living space we currently just have 2 cats.
5. I can't stand to see or feel things being squished -- I pick up spiders and bugs and put them back outside if it bothers someone that they're inside (or look away if someone else is doing the squishing

).
6. I hate being the center of attention.
7. Even though I'm part of the "MTV generation" I've probably seen only about 10 music videos in my lifetime. I grew up in the country with 4, maybe 5 channels through the rabbit ears, no cable.
8. I have a degree in Computer Engineering which provided just enough Electrical Engineering classes to verify that I hate the hardware side of things.
9. I don't think I'm very good with kids, so I'm hoping that I'll be better with my own than with others, when/if we have some.
10. After moving away from college, I never made any new girl friends. My coworkers are all male, so lunches out are usually about 7 guys and me. The only female interaction I get is with family (mostly 3.5 hours away), strangers, or the wives of our friends from work when we all get together. I often wonder if I'm more geeky/strange now because of it.
