I was just talking to Impulse and another post I saw reminded me of a classic Mid drama moment.
Beryl ran regular SI raids every weekend. I usually never attended them since I'd be doing other things. I wanted the Agmundr Foe Slayer (slowest sword in Midgard at that time) and I think 2 other people had it.
Anyway, one dropped on a raid I didn't attend. Beryl, for some reason, said he was claiming it for me because I was his GM and I do a lot for everyone. Well, the you-know-what apparently hit the fan.
So I log on later that night to PMs like, "I hope you're happy jerk" and "that's so not right I hope you're happy with yourself" and I'm just like, what are you people talking about?
The alliance definitely was in an uproar that night.
