I got an email a few days ago from my old RS buddy, John aka Morge, Cadius, Cadia and about 50 other 50s.


He was reminiscing about the time that there were a bunch of duels outside of CS (I think it was CS). He took his wizzy out there and started killing the $hit out of people not knowing that there were duels going on


Poor guy felt horrible about it


I remember dueling Micro at level 35 and letting him win. He got all mad because then he couldn't go into BGs anymore and own.

When have they not hit hard. Last time I checked, a zerker in vendo BS bombs people for upwards of a 1k+.

Let's see where to begin:


Racing to the mall at 8am the morning of release to buy a copy of the game. Making it to level 17 in about 24 hours and being the highest level minstrel on the server for a few moments.


Losing the willpower to force myself to PvE and making RR4 at level 43... when you would get maybe 100 rp's for a solo kill. Hitting RR5 at level 48.


Any true 8v8 pre-TOA fight in old school frontiers. Being able to max out your skills with only player crafted stuff was the best and it was too bad TOA had to phase that out.


Old school Unity drama. Geka/Max not ressing random noobs. Landrew claiming to have laid Liana, which eventually led to the formation of Unity. Came to find out later that Max started Unity because he really was laying Liana. Schloot being mad because he didn't get an invite. Me getting an invite for the simple reason that Knightowl/Sabien was my brother. Remembering that I was irritated we were recruiting totals newbs like some unknown named Ariae and some joker named Meddyck. We already had one badass minstrel and good clerics... why did we need these clowns? Duoing with Knightowl was badass.


Knightowl, Cantari, and me destroying a 20-member mid guild rvr group all decked out in the same cloaks and outfits.


Soloing Uppland and Dodens every day for about 5 months. Destroying Conanthechosen 1v1 at the height of the zerker/LA overpowerment.


Having Kalinoir write a guild rvr story that involved me. Granted my main role in the story was to eat some 'partially chewed crab meat' and die like a bitch in the end, but it was cool nonetheless to be regarded as a peer by one of Gawaine's best.


Coupland always being a good friend in game. The guy rode all the way to T3 from Sauvage just because we needed a tank for our group.

I am willing to bet that very, very few people still reading this board will have any idea who I am. Damn, I haven't logged in in over a year! Might be time to play again, though it's too bad Unity and Gawaine in general are pretty much dead.
