I know for awhile that tinkerbot programs where private. Anyone working on one for general population now?


Still no tradebot plugin (although an ACTOOL script is out?, not that most ACers could figure it out though).


Oracle of Dereth. Many believe greatest atlas like program in game. Why haven't one of you fixed it.


Just like to point out how people were ACMing and etc as soon as Decal was out, but you programmers don't seem to care about many of the non-ACM plugins.


What gives? If ELtank can be released nearly as soon as Decal Alpha is release, being the multi-dimensional plugin that it is, why can't you guys get plugins like sixth sense, bandit sight, tradebot plugin, and etc running?


No desire? Not as important to AC as ACM/UCM plugins?

The tinkerbot script should be out once they release a new version of decal/actool. There are too many issues with the current versions to code around so the current author of the code has decided to wait until new updates are made available. BTW, the author of the tinkerbot script is also the author of the tradebot script for ACTool, so you know he is definately active.


ElTank does have a tinkerbot function built into it, but it isn't really meant for a good public tinkerbot. I talked to ElGarl about it and due to the way that decal is changing right now he doesn't have the desire to make any significant changes to his tinkerbot portion of code until things are more stable which is totally understandable.

The reason some plugins havent been updated is because they devs arent around AC anymore. Meanwhile el tank/lifetank are not only around, were included in the first few alphas to test their plugins with the new decal.

did you not see a program called Find it? which is like sixth sense.

and if you read these boards, youd see Bandit sight/a decal tradebot is currently being worked on.

The ACTool tradebot script is very easy to use. The only real tweaking you have to do in order to get it to work is change a couple of mouse position settings in the locations of the Main Pack and First Pack Slot. Once you have done that, everything else is just setting prices on items and your point system. It really doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure it all out, just a little motivation on YOUR part. Heck, the person that made the macro went through all the time and effort to write the whole thing, which in my opinion did an excellent job of doing, and take a few minutes of your own to fix the kinks to your particular computer. (And no, I am not a programmer in any stretch of the imagination. I am just not lazy enough to give up on things so easy.)

Castaway is out for buff bots


Evader is out for filtering evade/zero damage messages.


Hush! is out to filter the baove plus some additional messages (and has a GUI).

Elgar has actually worked on his plugin and he had access to Decal long before it was public. Faile had access as well, but again, I haven't heard from him in quite some time. Same with Mesaten. The old tradebot authors are assholes who wouldn't give the code to anyone and didn't want anyone to fix it, so none of those got updated. Gol is working on his tradebot and it's coming along pretty well -- he's in the alpha group too.


The reason ElTank is working is because Elgar puts in a lot of work and effort into it.


It takes time to build applications, especially something with a great deal of options.

That is not at all true. People almost always get flammed on this forum for the same thing: failure to read or failure to follow instructions. Failing to read the stickies or some of the posts on the front page is a big no no with most people here. For anyone who has even casually read the posts on this board, it is obvious that the OP did not make any effort to understand the situation before posting. Considering how many people could have flammed him, I think he got off fairly light. Most people probably are ignoring posts like these.
