I for one use it to be able to step away and not worry about missing conversation if I happen to get stuck afk for more then 15 minutes.

Also at times when organizing mules and what not, its nice to be able to dual log 2 chars and not worry about taking too long organizing stuff on one account and have the mule log in the middle of handing him something.


There are several good reasons for it, and not very many against. Its not going to help you break the CoC as people have said. The game servers are not particularly taxed anymore with the populations where they are now, so it's not going to hurt anything.

well, there's been a fair amount of discussion on this, and as far as I can see the conclusion is that an idle-removal plugin would be useful to at least some, and there's no real downside to it -- no abuse that this could enable that's not already available by other means.


so if the existing, current version of Idler that's working fine ever stops working, and nobody is willing to fix it or replace it, I wouldn't mind doing so.
