From what I hear, though, you prefer snooping around sites to find source code, so I can understand the mistake.

Bashing peoples WORK is not allowed? Since when?

Talking trash about another user is a quick way to earn a banning, as is posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response from someone (aka trolling).


If bashing peoplse work was disallowed, all those people that bash It! plugins all the time would be long gone.


Sorry, you can say just about whatever you want about some product (assuming you use reasonable language). It's when you take it personal and start bashing the person that the mods get involved.


So, it's perfectly okay to complain about a sites horrible choice of colors, the total lack of any artistic sense in the design, the unreadability, the pure amateurishness of it, the lack of anything more meaningful than what would appear to be desperate bid for attention; all of that is allowed, as there is no personal attack on anyone. And it does not matter if whether what I say is true or not, it is still allowed.


But if I were to instead bash the creators of that site for having zero ethics, the morals of a pig and the verbal skills to match, that would be disallowed, no matter how true it was.

See, the problem here as stated above in the beginning is they are bashing, baiting, feeding into this thread to get it locked.


They are getting what they want.

All I posted for was to notify and allow people to view my site without dis-respecting the vnboards/ign.

This thread is NOT about anything else but the website. Everything else as far as I am concerned can be removed.

I see quite a lot of discussion about the website and it's function here in the thread. Sure there are some off-topic posts, but there are also a lot of good points discussed.
