1. I don't go around vnboards asking for donations, which is the key difference.
2. I also don't go around vnboards asking for donations for something that doesn't exist yet and probably never will.

There is no donation link...yet
We are just adding content now to fill out the wesbite while coders do their magic.
We will remove it, and add it back at a later date, didnt think people would get their panties
in a wad over it.

I agree and ask those who are purposly baiting this thread to stop. It's against the Vnboards ToS.

Hate posts and personal attacks will not be tolerated on the VN Boards. Treat others on these message boards as you would expect them to treat you. Talking trash about another user is a quick way to earn a banning, as is posting topics specifically to provoke a negative response from someone (aka trolling).

first, where on -VN- boards has he asked for donations?
second, I guess its ok to make money as long as you arent asking for donations?
(btw, you are asking for donations by posting a large paypal link/icon on the main page of your website.)

Anton, I say we let it go.
This is not about the other people's baiting/flaming/bashing intentions. It's about the announcement of the wonderful site.
Lots of great features are enabled when you become a member, including forums.
