It wasn't an oversight. They still have envoy detection that is accessed THROUGH Lifetank XI. It is called Detection XI. With admin access to the auth servers you receive access to it, and it's been there the whole time that they have said they "removed" envoy alert from lifetank XI. All they did was take away public access, pull out the partial code, and rename it Detection XI.

Say that the LTXI users couldn't play AC without cheating the admins. You remove their access to the detection, and make a new detection with that for yourself. Now who was it that couldn't play without cheating the admins?

They wrote Detection XI which is made soley for admin detection and therefore by your words is against Decal's CoE.

Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no admin detection in Lifetank. I'm even willing to show the source to one of the Decal devs, or some person that won't distribute it and can be agreed upon.


Edit: The only things our auth server can do is prevent old versions of LT from working, send Private Messages to users, display login messages (i.e., new feature announcements, upcoming forced upgrades, etc.), and ban people from using the plugin. And there are no current bans. I'm happy to show that code as well, under the same conditions as above. We don't have anything to hide.

You forgot to mention your auth server, or the previous one before this 11.7.0.2 which you still said had no envoy detection, had the abillity to give users special access. Nice to know you are willing to lie to ltxi's users even when evidence is shown.

I even have a change log that shows exact changes, line by line, of what changed from 11.7.0.1 to 11.7.0.2.


I have not lied, and I'm disappointed that you think so. I'm probably not going to convince you otherwise and that's OK. I just reviewed the code again and there is no admin detection in LT.

You fail to see that I didn't say it was IN lifetank. Nor did i say it was in the 11.7.0.2 version, but I know for a fact that access with the previous version. It was access through /lt auth server (2/3 etc) and If you name had special access and a utillity named Detection XI magically popped up. wait a second... XI... isn't that the version from after you guys took over....


So maybe you are denying it, or maybe you didn't know about it, but it was there before this recent update, it could still be, I wouldn't know because you changed the auth servers and therefore changed the level of access users had.

I don't even have a plugin capable of admin detection. I don't know what Detection XI is, aside from your image in the post, which could have easily been photoshopped, or easily created within a few minutes. Or it could be another plugin that I don't know about.


Either way, I'll reiterate that LT does not have any code for admin detection, we don't have any secret admin detection plugin, etc. My offer to show the source to certain people still stands, in order to help dispel any doubts that may be remaining.

edit: And it's nice to know you feel the need to threaten the banning of me permanately from lifetank for something that YOU PERSONALLY beleive to not have existed, guess you aren't kept up to date with your fellow devs.

You might want to talk with them before you deny anything else, you'd want to have all the info before you go trying to disprove this. I'd hurry up and edit all your responses to have "To my knowledge" at the beginning.
