Why is it a bad thing? It is upholding turbine's CoC. If they took this out, might as well scrap decal. No program is worse than War Detect though, absolutely weak.

Never said it was a bad thing. Turbine allows us to mod the client. Turbine has a short list of things that you are not allowed to do. This is not on the Turbine's forbiddened list.
Even if Turbine said no. People would still do it because they can. They would just take their chances. The only way to really stop it would be for Turbine to change AC so it would not work.
I do not have a clue as to what Turbine thinks. They have never said anything in favor or against it. All they have ever done is explain what is going on and why.

Offering your services for a project when your potential client is being deliberately evasive about the details is not a course of action any reputable programmer would take.
