When I try to run that it just tells me "failed to remove decal registry settings"

When you say clients are you talking about decal clients?

No, the Turbine AC Clients. If your a ACDC user then you would generally have multiple copies of the Asheron's Call game folder, (each named differently in some mannor). Usually one copy for each AC Account you subscribe to.


They're saying to make sure you launch into each one of those copies and let them all fully update with Decal off, then after all copies of AC are updated on your system try again with Decal on (but still no plugins).

It wouldn't be 'frustrating' if you had followed the BASIC installation instructions. Or, had you heeded the "this is a beta" warning on Decal 2.9.6.5. Or maybe the warnings and problems people have posted on the dead and no longer supported LifeTank and it's filters. Then again, it may be the fact that 2 (yes, two) Decal developers have posted here asking for information and suggesting a course of action and you flat out ignored both of them. (I mean, why the hell should you listen to them, they only WROTE the damn thing!)

Start at the beginning with clean installs (and system cleanse) on everything. Follow the instructions and if you have no luck, be prepared to come here and give details, exports, screen shots and other information as needed/requested.
