I tried to read the top of the window, but the messages flash by too fast for me to read.
Turning the firewall off did not help.
As far as I know, neither Decal nor AC is run in admin mode.
Thanks for all the help mrFlipo, I don't want to waste more of your time. It is not essential that I get this thing running. (The ACC part anyway)

As an interesting note, I uninstalled Tings and reinstalled it. Again, I could not get it started because it could not write. I started Decal and AC and started it from ingame with the /Start ACCompanion command. Again, it started like last time but there is some kind of graphical glitch at the same time; my armor loses it's color (black/gray/white) and my hair color lightens...weird.

Give this a try:
Look in the tings folder and see if you have this file,asheroncall.fdb
Mines at C:\programdata\Tings\
If not there or is mispelled like asheronscall that might be the problem.
Seems to me (memory bad so forgive me) the file was either spelled with the s or not there at all. Can't remember if I copied and renamed another fdb file (like start.fdb) or not. Might want to check with Flippo on that if asheroncall.fdb is not there.

Edited mispelling of asheroncall and changed suggestion on what to do if file not there

Verify that you have AsheronCall.fdb in the Tings directory.
If not you can rename Start.fdb or StartNoIcon.fdb to AsheronCall.fdb and
then start companion get IG and test for activity.


Yes the top window message will go by fast if all is well.

When you start companion do you see a pop up message about..
"Unable to connect. Either you need to configure or start firebird server."
?

Also go to the Configurations-> Server Setup tab and click
on the 'Set' button and confirm that it says
"ou are now connected."


P.S. I don't feel like this is wasting my time.
I've not lost anyone so far in getting Tings up and running.

The .FDB file is where it is supposed to be.
When I hit Set, I get the You are connected confirmation popup. However, on the message line, it seems to be stuck with this message: STANDBY--ACTIVATING Characters.

As a side issue, I get this message when I sell stuff:[Tings] WFOwner. Item not know in world yet.(-1600720674)

Yes, that worked thank you.
Strangely though, some of VirindiTank's VVS plugins do not show up if the launcher is in admin mode. (GoArrow, SSSort)
