strange idiosync report (could be a bug but for now lets call it some strange activity).


toon is following along in follow route, route enabled, equipped with a 2h weapon and the items contains that 2h and training wand. Consumables are meats, perfect kit, stam rations. set to heal at about 75%, all other options at zero. enable combat is off, don't want the dweeb getting side tracked by every rabbit we pass .


follow/nave min set 3 runs along find and will go thru portals if close enough to portal/toon, when leader goes in.


NOW for what to me seems the strange part. Moving into some tight cooridor/house to run thru I moved the follow min to 1.


starts off running behind, but as soon as catchs up and stands still for a sec switchs to the training wand. unequip, requip 2h and reverts back to the wand.


set bck to follow min 3 nd happy to run around with the 2h weapon. but at min distance of 1 bonehead has got a fixation for switching too and running around with the training wand.


just checked and 2 works fine keeping weapon equipped, is only when set at 1 does this 'craziness' persist.


oh and yeah blah blah, merry christmas and all that social pleasantries.

Rings will only be used if theres 4 or more critters in range also. 4 is the default number, can be changed i believe in advanced settings.

With 128MB of memory, have you always had the virindi view going? Try disabling that, and seeing how long it runs.

Can't believe I missed that. Thanks guys.


Now lemme throw this out and see if anyone has any ideas. Been running for a while now and i'm noticing that every once in a while my character will pick up a bow/xbow/atlatl. I have no missle weaps set to be picked up in Alinco. I went through and got rid of any mention of missle weaps. These items don't have majors on them. The majority don't even have any spells. And none of them are max stats.


Things that make ya go hmm.


Edit: If it helps any, it is only picking up the missle weaps the second time it opens a corpse. It will loot normally after the kill, move on to next waypoint. On the return trip, VT will randomly loot already looted corpses. This second looting is when the missle weap gets picked up.

Yes I have been running it for about 2 weeks now, and no problems.


I think I have the problem solved.

It seems that Vtank only crashes if I "switch" computers using Multiplicity. (A software that allows you to basically use one mouse/keyboard with multiple computers.) It has been installed for a long time, and it used to work with no problems back when I had 2 and 3 accounts logged in at the same time. Apparently something in the way Vtank renders windows is incompatible with that function of Multiplicity.

I was logged in today for over 3 hours with no problems when I was not using the other computer via Multiplicity. Currently I have been in 90 minutes with all my plugins enabled and it is still working smoothly.

I have that same problem. Annoying but nothing major to me lol. Maybe Virindi can answer that one.

VVS views use less memory than regular decal views, so I highly doubt that will help.

Agnari: Turn off idle peace mode. Nav range < 2 requires your char to make small steps, which only work in combat and magic mode.

Ball-Cruncher: That is a bug in Alinco3, not in VTank.

i can confirm peace mode was NOT on and at 1 in war mode it will still switch to a wand (wonder if NOT having combat enabled will impact this, nope checked combat was enabled and still switchs to wand - dumbazz melee trying to run around impersonating a mage isn't gone to scare any monsters).

This happens to me as well. I believe it happens randomly on my first turn through looting. I also have the rules for all missle weapons disabled in Alinco.
