Is there any way to loot faster? As in, kill mob loot, kill next mob loot, instead of waiting till all mobs are dead to loot.

What setting sets the loot distance? I didn't see this anywhere.

Is there anyway to use lvl 7 war magic and lvl 8 buffs? I don't like using lvl 8 wars, doesnt help me kill any faster and is more of a money sink.

Is there anyway to do a continuous buff mode?

Check 'boost loot priority'.

Loot distance is always 5. If you set approach distance higher than this, it will approach further corpses to loot them.

Your other two questions are answered by the FAQ: http://www.virindi.net/wiki/index.php/Virindi_Tank_FAQ

Boost loot priority, didn't realize the standalone client is an outdated version. I see it now in the bundled version.

Thanks!

Interesting plugin, may try it.

Question, tho, that may have been addressed in this long, technical thread.

In regards to the "Why is Virindi Tank leaving monster corpses all over the place?" and you stating, "this is due to a bug in AC. Update: Turbine has now said that this behavior will be fixed in an upcoming patch. "

Can't you simply program the next version to wait a second or two longer before closing the corpse?

If people are going to macro, hogging and killing everything rather quickly, especially quest item areas, then I should be able to go in behind them and loot. Unfortunately, I can't, as all the corpses are locked. Find it rather annoying.

That said, if I choose to use the program, I don't want to lock anything. If I don't take something, I'm more than happy to let someone else take it. Perhaps adding a second to the close option would help...?

I could. However, there are a few issues...there are a bunch of things your char can do that would close the corpse, so it would have to be prevented from doing those things (which may be bad, for instance, say it needs to go to mage mode from melee mode to heal). Plus, it would slow down looting a lot.

I was avoiding the problem with the hopes that turbine would fix the underlying issue, and...now they are. So I figure it isn't something I have to worry about anymore, just wait for the fix to arrive.

When looking at skill values does vtank factor in the +10 to magic skills aug?

It uses the number that is on your character sheet. Does that number include the +10 you're talking about?

he is talking about the new 4path aug for a +10 to each magic school skill.

and NO, your stat's don't reflect this. it could show your skill as a 345 base, but with the aug you could then wield a 355 base wand.

Oh really...does that hidden number also affect fizzle rate?

Sigh, I hate hidden stuff.

The only thing that reflects the new aug is the aug itself.. the client doesn't reflect it, based on turbine's decision.

yes VI it affects your skill and damage. it's an addition to your EFFECTIVE skill so if your buffed/major-epic skill is 400 with the augs the damage, fizzle rate, ect would be using an effective skill of 410 in all formulaes to see if the vul lands, how much damage your war does or if you spell fizzles.

sweet and while it helps the 4 school mages, I suspect it really helps the melee/archers struggling to cast 8s more then it really helps mages.
