I sure don't know about warm fuzzys for ltx/elgank folks but the force buff does come in handy when, for example:
you have like 20 minutes left on buff and you are heading out on a 30-120 minute quest. Sure don't want to stop just short and have to rebuff.
which is why a pause button would help me, if im force buffing to reset the timers, and have to stop for a second to give someone something or get tapers etc... then i dont want to have to force rebuff again, and go through all the spells i already cast... i just want it to pause for a second and and then resume

yeah, but when i turn it 'off' it stops the force buff and doesnt remember where it was, then when i turn it back on it sees that i am already buffed and wont continue on.
so the first half of my buffs that i force buffed are at full timers, then the rest of the ones it didnt cast before i turned it off are at half (or less) timers
i tried playing with the rebuff when idle timers, but that is a pita.

something's wrong, i've always seen that if you force a buff, start the macro, stop it do stuff and restart that it continues buffing the 'forced buff'

VI a friend is having a problem in buffing.
he claims that Vtank is baning each piece of armor individually and not the new buffself bane all armor worn method.
IS this actually possible in Vtank, i can't see him lying but I can understand why or how the plugin is doing it. but more importantly, HOW do we correct this situation???
as always thanks for your assist. i'd probably have to kill myself if he installs LTx and have to listen to him whine about how that's hosed him up

This is accurate. When you click the 'force buff' button it sets a flag on each of your buffs indicating that it should be recast. When a spell is recast, that flag is cleared. Stopping and starting the macro has no effect.
Clicking the 'cancel force buff' button clears those flags.

The only thing I can think of is maybe somehow he got his armor into the items panel? Shouldn't be possible, though. VTank does not contain anything to buff individual armor pieces; for banes it only targets you and the shields you have in your items list.
Perhaps another plugin is running and is doing it?

What does Virindi View Service do? I turned it off along with all the programs in the Virindi bundle except virindi tank. My frame rate went back to normal and the hang on log out stopped. Also, that action seems to have cleared all my settings in alinco3. It's completely blank.

It is the alternative windows for the bundle plugins. I'm a little surprised that this was the issue...

I'm not certain that this is the issue. I'm playing with it to determine what is. I just wanted you to know...what progress I'm making and what my observations are. With regular gameplay, the issue seemed to be that the longer your gaming session, the longer it would hang on logout. I think I was logged in for a good 2-3 hour session with little to no hang on logout. You know recently I also noticed that with the entire bundle running, my framerate would progressively decrease. So I would logout to try to reset things. This however didn't work. I started playing with my paging file, increasing, decreasing, eliminating and letting the computer decide. I didn't get much of a noticeable difference. I'm mobile currently so I'll post a copy of my computer files later.
