I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I was trying to lvl a new mage tonight (lvl 85 no critter) but vtank works for a min then stops. Then it will randomly start working again then it will stop again. No error messages or anything. I do have a full set of spells btw.

This usually means it is trying to do something it can't do. You can see what it is trying to do by typing:

/vt log spellcast on
/vt log ruleinfo on

Then looking in chat window 4. Usually this will let you figure out why it is stuck.

I just installed the new virindi bundle. (Have been using the older addition.) I have a vista 64 and it installed in C:\games which it created. The message said it loaded correctly and when I check the folder it has made a profile for the toon I tried. But it does not appear on the decal bar. Also when I look into the control panel uninstall choices, it is not listed. When entering the game, the chat screen says I need to make an account which I then did. But the next time I entered the game, I got the same message that I had entered anonymously. I have rebooted the computer and prior to installing it, I did uninstall the old virindi.

Any ideas how to get it to come up on the decal bar so I can use it.

Thx for any help.

i want virindi tank to use regular mana stones

i also want it to use alinco to salvage

i want to be able to pause the macro so it doesnt have to "rebuff" all the spells if i run out of tapers mid buff

There is no need to pause VTank. VTank keeps track of buffs it casts by character age, so unless you manually rebuff in between, it will know which buffs need to be refreshed and which not. I am not even sure why the "Force Rebuff" button is there at all - probably to give (former) LTx users a warm, fuzzy feeling
If you go restocking or for some other reason want the macro not to act, simply stop it and when you are done turn it on. If any spells expired during that time or are about to expire, VTank will recast them when you start it again, if not then it won't (until they are about to expire).

On waking up this morning, I figured out that the vtank icons were buried under the decal icons: 1) is there anyway to move those icons 2) is there anyway to put them on the decal bar 3) is there anyway to get them to display their names as opposed to the icon. Thx.

In Decal, under Services, uncheck Virindi View Service. However, note that using VVS gives much better framerates as well as additional view features.

The force buff button exists so that you can get all of your spells on the same timer, or refresh your buffs early (before a quest, for example).

1) Hold down CTRL key, the VVS bar will have visible borders then and you can drag it around. If you move it to the right edge of the 3D area it will sticky there (so when you have main pack open or something it will be right at the border between 3D area and the pack, if you have pack etc closes, it will be at the edge of the AC window)
2) Disable the VVS service (attention: you should close all clients before you turn on or off a service in decal)
3) Not with VVS turned on

It is trying to regain your H/S/M, but one of these is the case:

-No proper spells are known which are easy enough for it to cast (heal self, s2m, and revit)
-You do not have the required components

If you are a melee without life magic, set your mana regain level to 0 and add health food/potions, health kits, and stam food/potions.
