"X is broken" is not a valid bug report and will not get you anywhere.

If you want a developer of any type of software to take action on a problem you have, you must report particular information about the problem you are having.

In fact, this does not only apply to software but to any sort of troubleshooting situation where you are asking someone for help with their product.

Some things to include:
-The version of the software in question
-Exactly what you did to cause the problem
-Exactly what the software did, including any messages
-What you expected it should do, if it is not obvious



I am having same issue.

Decal 2.9.6.5
virindi tank 0.3.1.75
Virindi Item Tool 1.0.0.8
If more are needed let me know, I have downloaded the latest bundle from your website

What I did. When i click add portal/npc it only works for portals. It will add portals no problem, but when you click on a npc and click buttom, it states to please click on a npc.

I expect it should have added the npc just as it added the portal.

My first bug report, lemme know if I forgot anything or if I need to clarify more.

What NPC? Note that it doesn't work for vendors. I just tried on the town crier in the middle of shoushi and it worked. Try that town crier.

Virindi,

Is there a way to use dessicant's on Aetheria looted below a certain level? My main problem is that when I look lower level aetheria, they fill my packspace way to quickly and it's difficult to pause the macro to break down all the aetheria w/ dessicant's.

If there were a way to set it to do this on it's own, similar to how salvage is combined and peas are autostacked, I think that it would be extremely beneficial for packspace and aetheria looting.

Is there any reason why it would not work for vendors? I don't understand the distinction between vendors and other npcs, like criers.

Because its not a UCM program and that's a step towards complete automation rather than an ACM with extremely helpful tools. If this was allowed, it would be common place to set a route to use /fillcomps and/or virindi item tool to buy/sell automatically. I don't personally have a problem with people who completely automate their macros, but that's not what vtank is designed/developed for. It's an ACM plugin and the only reason you would need it to use vendors is to sell or to recomp automatically, which is very simple if you're actually attending the macro.

Hi, i'm not a dev, but i'm curious about your request... care to explain how that's useful? what's the point in dispeling yourself once everything is dead and your idle? =)

For instance. When i'm hunting on 150 as a melee mage, I can killthe shadows but i'm constantly being vulned; it's a huge waste of chorizites to constantly dispell those vulns while i'm killing the spawn and the same thing goes with killing the golems. i then move on to the Ruschks and those things destroy me while i'm vulned up.


would be nice to dispel the debuffs from the dead mob before moving to the next mob.


same thing goes with lots of hunting areas.


basicly, i can kill the mobs if i start out on them before i'm debuffed. usually i have a spawn half dead before the vulns start. critters like the ruschks are manageable if u only have to deal with half the spawn while debuffed... full mob debuffed=death

0.3.1.80 released.

-Rarely, the macro ignored a 'real' monster as though it didn't exist. This is due to a bug in Decal's Worldfilter component, and VTank's object tracker shared the same problem. VTank's attack code has now been made completely independent of Worldfilter (this was an ongoing process that has just now been completed for attack). VTank's object tracker has been fixed as well so that it is not affected by this condition.

Expect Worldfilter to be fixed in a later release of Decal.

Ones of VTank's design goals, however, is to work equally well on every major version of Decal, so this fix will continue to remain in place at least as long as 2.9.6.0 is the official release.

Ah, ok. That makes sense now, I don't use auto-dispel for that very reason. But also, I guess I move too slow on DI for it to matter to me. By time i'm done looting a spawn and tip-toe to the next spawn my vulns have worn off naturaly. hehe

But if VI put a poll out for that feature i'd vote in favor of it. Heck, I might even enable auto-dispeling with that added "only when idle" option. I'm too stingy over my Chorizites and Diamond Scarabs to allow vTank to automate that right now. =)
